About Cat Wellness Guide

This site is published by the makers of PROZIMA. PROZIMA is a hemp seed oil for cats and dogs, made by MMH Products, a small family business in Brooklyn, New York. You can learn more about it at prozimaus.com.

We started this guide because cat owners kept asking us the same questions, and most of them were not really about our product. They were about cats: which fats a cat needs, why a cat suddenly snubs dinner, why the coat looks flat in winter. So we wrote down what we found, with links to where we found it.

How we write

• Cats only. Cats have nutrition needs that differ from dogs and people, so this site covers cats only.
• Every fact has a source. Each article lists the pages we read, mostly veterinary schools, veterinary journals, the U.S. FDA and the ASPCA, with the date we read them.
• Honest about our own product. When PROZIMA comes up, we say what it is and what it is not. It is a hemp seed oil, a food oil. It is not CBD, it has no THC, and it is not a medicine. We do not make health claims for it, and some of our articles explain why a hemp seed oil is not a replacement for fish oil.
• One shop link per article. Articles mention PROZIMA once, in a clearly marked box, with a link to buy it on Amazon. That link is to our own product; we do not earn from other brands.
• Your vet comes first. Nothing here is veterinary advice. If your cat has a health problem, is on medicine, or is not eating, talk to your veterinarian.
